COMPANY: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon)
SHOOT LOCATION: Provo and Goshen, Utah. Domestic distant locations, TBA.
ALL ROLES for the 2017 production have been cast. Auditions for 2017 are closed.

Please keep watch for NEW AUDITION postings for our 2018 productions!

Roles for future productions will appear on this site. Please follow this blog or visit us on Facebook [] for updates.

We will produce portions of this project through 2020. As of 2018, we will be looking for Native Americans to fill various roles, both speaking and non-speaking. These will be PAID positions.

LDS: All talent must be active, temple-worthy members of the LDS Church. (Having a temple-recommend isn't necessary. But participants must be endorsed by their local ecclesiastical leader as being temple-worthy.)

▸ If you are auditioning to be a Background Actor (Extra) or for a Child (under age 16), you do not need to post a video, but we do need your photos (see below).
If you are auditioning for a speaking role, please prepare this SIDE.
Do not submit any video other than your performance of this side.

(1) Please take 4 still photos. A current digital snapshot is preferred. Photos with your camera phone are fine. (Each photo file must not exceed 2MB in order to be uploaded.)
 - Headshot: from the chest upward. Looking at camera.
 - Profile: from the chest upward. Facing directly to one side.
 - Full body, facing camera. Wear comfortable clothing that fairly depicts your natural shape. Please include your feet.
 - Full body, profile.
(2) Photos must be well lit, without obstructing accessories like sunglasses or hats.
(3) IMPORTANT! Photo files must be named with the individual’s FULL NAME.
This is the format: “Smith,John-1.jpg”

If you are applying for a non-speaking role (Background or Children), skip to STEP 3.

We recommend taking sufficient time to prepare and rehearse the scene adequately. Please memorize your lines.
  1. This may be recorded on a smart phone or similar device.
  2. Wardrobe: Casual, comfortable, earth tones—brown, tan, gray, green, blue. Avoid solid black.
  3. Record your performance close enough to see your face clearly (from about your chest, upward).
  4. Make sure your video is clear, in focus, and has plenty of light. Natural light — filtered daylight — is often a good choice.
  5. Slate: Begin by introducing yourself. State your full name, age, and agency (if applicable).
  6. Perform to camera, just barely off to one side as if your scene partner were operating the camera. (Not directly into the lens, but almost.)
  7. We are looking for natural performances for film. Not theatrical or overly sensationalized.
  8. Check the sound. Make sure it is clear enough to hear without having to turn up the speakers to maximum volume.
  9. Please submit one take only.
  10. Upload your video to an online site like YouTube or Vimeo. IMPORTANT: Set the privacy settings to "Unlisted" (not “Private”) so we will be able to view it without a password. This means that only those with the URL address will be able to access your video.
Go to this link and complete the application form. You will be able to upload four photo files to your form. (File size must be less than 2MB each.) The form also has an entry space where you may post the URL address for your video if you have prepared one.

PLEASE RESPOND as soon as possible.

Also, feel free to forward this information to anyone whom you feel fits the criteria and may be interested!

Thank you! We look forward to reviewing your application!
