Young members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints ages 18-26 volunteer to serve as missionaries for 18-24 months throughout the world. There are many health, safety, and security issues that these young adults face. This series of training videos aims to engage and entertain while educating. The hallmarks of these scripts are humor and snappy dialogue in a sci-fi setting.
Every morning, from all across the world, highly trained analysts use wormhole portals to gather in a single, undisclosed location: The Situation Room. Here, these analysts observe missionary behavior—good and bad—by "time-slipping" cloaked field agents with special fieldcams to specific missionary incidents. (Incidents involving Bicycle Safety, Cultural Sensitivity, Proper Nutrition and Hygiene and the like.) Like all work groups, this team of analysts and field agents has a variety of personality traits, and their interactions with each other simultaneously entertain and help drive the story.
